About ME:
I’m a young female working towards becoming a solo RnB singer. My very first Performance was at the age of 3. I sung for my school. Then after that I sung at High school on several occasions.  I also wrote Poetry and was taken around to a number of schools performing my work. While at high school I put together a choir that performed on several occasions.

At college I continued to sing and work on my performing skills. I co organised 3 talent shows and performed as a guest twice. After leaving I was asked back to work with some students which were attending. From the years of 92 to 98 I was a part of a gospel choir. We sung at a number of social events and also had the opportunity to sing at the Manchester Opera House for a charity event. From there I wanted to take my singing to a professional level.

In 98 I entered a local talent show called 'Brag and Boast' and won first place singing Erika Badu's – On and on. I went on to the finals with a remixed track and 4 dancers added to the stage performance. I again won first place out of 13 finalist and a cash prize of £1000. Due to winning the talent show I was able to have my own show the following week in a local community venue. In 2000 I started working wholly on my own music. At the end of that year I travelled to the USA for 3 months to start work on my first demo. I did some basic work with an up and coming production team (PowaHousProductions) based in Baltimore, Maryland.  It went well and I did obtain a demo but I wasn’t fully satisfied with the quality of work. At the start of 2002 I was informed of a studio (Gorse Hill Studios) in my area that would be able to help me to put together a demo of a relatively high standard. With working at Gorse Hill I was also able to audition for For the Trafford 'Party in the Park' event in the July of that year and also ‘The Side Show’, which is an event, organised to show case Trafford talent. I performed at the Manchester carnival as an ex 'Brag and Boast' winner all in the same Month. I also featured on Carnival fm leading up to that.

This year I have managed to get a little more studio time to improve my demo. I was fortunate to be able to perform for the cultural peace day at the Urbis in Manchester’s city centre on the 28th June. I have also performed at 'Party in the Park 2003’ on the 12th July. I brought the house down at ‘The Side Show Part 2’ on the 19th July and have been interviewed on Carnival FM the day after ‘Party in the Park’ as a lead up to ‘The Side Show’ and ALL FM as an up and coming Artist representing Manchester talent.
